Magdalena Kozińska
  • PhD in Economics. She obtained her academic degree (with honors) in 2017 at the Banking Institute of the Warsaw School of Economics. Ms Kozińska is also a graduate of BA and MA studies at the same university.
  • Her research interests include in particular the area of financial stability and financial safety net (with particular emphasis on the crisis management) as well as risk management. She conducts research also in the field of banking for wealthy people (private banking).

Alumnus of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and CEMS MIM programme at National University of Singapore (NUS). Participated in the exchange programme with The Chinese University of Hong Kong (香港中文大學) as well as in two international seminars on central banking conducted by Deutsche Bundesbank and Hochschule der Deutschen Bundesbank.

In 2022, she defended her master thesis entitled “The response of the financial safety net to instability in the banking sector” with honors. For two years she received Rector’s Scholarship for the best students for high academic results.  
During her studies she took part in project Żagle Biznesu SGH, Santander Universidades Academy and M&A Talent Lab.

Graduate of finance and accounting at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. In 2018, she defended her master’s thesis entitled “Manipulating information on the Polish capital market”. She also completed postgraduate studies -  pedagogical qualification for teaching work at the WSB University in Toruń.

Head of the Retail and Corporate Banking Department at the Banking Institute at the Warsaw School of Economics. Graduate of the
Warsaw School of Economics with double Master’s Degree in Finance and Banking and Management and Marketing. He completed a full-time doctoral program at the Warsaw School of Economics, where he received a PhD in economics in 2003.

Andrzej Krysiak

Dr Andrzej Krysiak is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (Faculty of Finance and Statistics). He received a PhD degree in the College of Economic Analysis at the Warsaw School of Economics. He also took a Tempus scholarship at the School of Management a Computer Science of the Sheffield City Polytechnic (UK). He was working as a an assistant the Institute of Computer Science of Polish Academy of Sciences and then (since 2004) as an assistant professor in the Institute of Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Izabela Pruchnicka-Grabias

Izabela Pruchnicka-Grabias graduated from SGH Warsaw School of Economics in 2000. (Master’s degree in finance and banking). In 2003 she received her PhD in economics at the same university. In 2014 she achieved her Habilitation degree and in 2016 her habilitation book was awarded with the First Prize in the Competition for the Best Habilitation Thesis on Finance organized regularly by the National Bank of Poland. Since 2015 she is an Associate Professor at SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the Head of the Investment Banking Unit.

Piotr Czapiewski

Piotr Czapiewski graduated the finance and banking faculty and the doctoral studies from Warsaw School of Economics.
He has been employed at Warsaw School of Economics since 2007, currently as a senior lecturer.
Piotr is a CFA charterholder, member of CFA Insitute and CFA Society Poland, and a holder of an investment adviser license, granted by Polish regulator.
He works as an Equity Portfolio Manager in Aviva PTE Aviva BZ WBK S.A. Earlier he was a senior analyst at PTE Warta S.A.

Piotr Kuszewski

Piotr Kuszewski is assistant professor at the Warsaw School of Economics. His research focuses on strategic implications of regulation, industrial organization of financial markets, and role of smart contracts on financial markets. Professor Kuszewski teaches game theory, credit risk management, and mutual funds portfolio management. At the Warsaw School of Economics Kuszewski is also Head of Postgraduate Studies of Compliance. Piotr Kuszewski holds PhD degree in economics. He is graduate of Northwestern University and the Warsaw School of Economics.

He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics, an Executive MBA of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Warsaw, is an alumnus of INSEAD and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He also completed numerous programs in the field of banking and management, among others at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, SDA Bocconi and the Singularity University.

Paweł Kulpaka

Paweł Kulpaka was graduated from Warsaw School of Economics in 1999. He obtained two masters degree: (1) Banking and Finance, and (2) International Economics and Political Relations. In 2004 he gained his Ph. D. In 2014 he obtained the post-doctoral degree (habilitation) in economic sciences. Since 1999 he has been employed at Warsaw School of Economics (1999 – 2014, Institute of International Economics, Collegium of World Economy, December 2014 – current, Institute of Banking, Collegium of Socio-Economics), where he currently works as a Associate Professor.

Lada Voloshchenko-Holda
  • Lada Voloshchenko-Holda graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (2001). She received a PhD in economics (specialization: quantitative methods, models and information technologies in economics) at the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (2008). Before she left Ukraine for Poland she worked for about ten years as a senior research officer at the Institute of Economics and Forecasting at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in Kyiv. Her major areas of research included foreign trade, energy and the agricultural sector.
