Scholarship average

According to the Rules and Regulations of Student Benefits – the minimum scholarship average for which points are awarded is 4.751.

When filling in the application for a scholarship for outstanding academic performance (high average), the scholarship average will already appear in the USOS system/on application if the previous semester has been completed (it does not apply to first-year Master students at other universities or persons with transcribed grades).

The average shown on the application is the scholarship average, not the dean’s average from the VDO.  The average only appears in USOS for those who have already passed the summer term 2022/23 before the first day of the application deadline.

Those who are still unaccounted for the summer term can only generate and submit an application once they are granted entry for the following term. The average will then not show up for them in USOSweb on the application, but the application can be submitted without the average.
You will not be able to apply for the Rector’s scholarship without having passed the previous semester and being registered for the following semester. Entry for the following semester must appear in the USOSweb system.
