A graduate of the Catholic University of Lublin, Ph.D. in economics, and assistant professor at the Department of Public Policy at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Scientific secretary of the Committee for Spatial Development of the Country of the Polish Academy of Sciences (since 2015). Since 2006, a member of the Polish Association of Economists of the Environment and Natural Resources.

She conducts research in the fields of: strategic planning and development programming at the regional and local level, heritage management, monitoring of development processes, and social participation. Publishing activity since 2007 includes over 60 items (scientific articles, chapters in monographs, co-authorship of monographs).

She combines scientific interests with practice as a trainer conducting training for local government units and an expert in developing strategic documents (especially at the local level).
