The Department of Public Policy groups scholars dealing with key features of public policy science.
The team deals with both public policy theories and the most important concepts of this discipline, but also with pragmatic issues.
It develops research projects in this area as well as creates instruments for the analysis of specific activities and public programs.
The Department develops analyses of sectoral policies, such as labor market policy, economic, energy, and cultural policies. For their analysis, the team uses knowledge from various disciplines of social sciences, from economics to sociology, psychology, and cultural studies.
The Department of Public Policy includes the Regional and Local Policy Unit. The unit deals with theoretical and practical issues of socio-economic development processes on a regional and local scale, including territorially oriented development processes.
