SGH suspends cooperation with universities from Russia

In response to the brutal military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the authorities of SGH Warsaw School of Economics have decided to suspend cooperation with universities and institutions from the Russian Federation. Thus, all forms of cooperation provided for in bilateral partnership agreements have been suspended.

SGH for Ukraine - Financial support

As a part of SGH for Ukraine program, we support our Ukrainian students and their families. Together with Humanosh Foundation we’re fundraising to provide all necessary help for them. SGH signed the agreement with the Foundation to support refugees and immigrants arriving to Poland.

Oleksii Morklianyk, SGH student, has died in the Kiev region

We have received the tragic news. On 1 March in the Kiev Oblast, Oleksii Morklianyk – a student of 1st-cycle studies at SGH – died as a result of his injuries. The car in which he was travelling was hit by missile fragments.

SGH Warsaw School of Economics has earned the prestigious EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) institutional accreditation. It is the leading international system for the assessment of teaching quality and study conditions at business schools. It is awarded to the best business schools by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

 About University

 

The history of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics begins in 1906. Warsaw was formally on the territory of the Russian Empire and it was to the tsar administration to authorize establishment of the Private Courses of Commerce for Men – as the school was known at that time.
